Implants have become a wonderful addition to the world of dentistry, especially in the last 10 years. It is providing new solutions for people who are missing one tooth, several teeth, and even all their teeth. We have the facilities and the expertise to treat all these patients

We have the ability to do a single tooth implant or full arch implants.  We can also assist with denture implants to help retain your existing or new denture.

What are Dental Implants?

Implants are small titanium screws tapped into the bone that a crown, bridge or denture can then be attached to. They are very precise items and in the right hands can be as good as a real tooth.

Am I suitable for dental implants?

Depending on your case, implants can be quite straight forward, or may require complex pre-planning. There are so many variables, that the best way is to come in for a consultation. We can give you all the options, and let you decide how you would like to proceed.

Do I have to see anyone else?

We have the ability to do all your scans on site, so you don’t have to run around to several appointments just to find out if you’re suitable for implants. The surgery is done by Dr Jorgensen who has extensive implant experience and is now lecturing on the topic. You can choose to have the surgery in our rooms or in hospital while asleep. The crown or bridge work is then done in our rooms once everything is ready to go.

How long does it take?

Following the initial consultation, if everything is straight forward, the surgery is done as soon as possible. A single tooth can be done within an hour. From this point there is generally 3-4 months of healing and crown preparation time. Sometimes we can give you a temporary tooth at the time of surgery or the following day but it is case dependent.

How much do Dental Implants cost?

Costs for implants vary. A basic single tooth implant should cost about $5300. This is broken up into 3 steps. The consultation and planning phase which costs $390. The implant surgery which costs $2300, and the final crown which costs $2525. These are general indications and will vary depending on the case. Larger treatment plans with multiple implants or more complex planning cases are costed on a case by case basis.

How come some are offering completed treatment in 3-5 days?

Depending on the type of treatment we can give some form of tooth in that time. However, when doing complex work such as this, we like to take time to make sure we have the best possible result using the best possible material. Anything that can be done in 3-5 days would only be temporary, and not the best available.
